This December, Imli Sarai will become a stage for global harmony with Jazz at Imli, a celebration of the shared language of music that connects continents.
From the soulful symphony of the Birsa–Esteban Duo to the experimental universe of Light Star Guiding, the series brings together artists who blur borders and reimagine sound.
Birsa Chatterjee, saxophonist, composer and educator, bridges the worlds of jazz and Indian classical music. He performs alongside Esteban Castro, an award-winning pianist and composer from New York, known for his prodigious artistry and lyrical improvisation.
Closing the series is Light Star Guiding, a Warsaw-based jazz collective that blends alternative, trance and minimalist influences, bringing a taste of Poland’s vibrant contemporary jazz scene for the first time to Hyderabad.
In collaboration with the Polish Institute, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Poland, Jazz Po Polsku, Alliance Française Hyderabad, Coda Foundation, Mirage Media and Meta Arts.
