Ganesa Natyalaya was started in 1974 by Padma Bhushan Awardee Guru Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan and the current Natyalaya' building came up in 1988. The institute boasts of many Indian and Western Students and was the first dedicated Bharatanatyam institute in Delhi.
