Formed by a group of enthusiasts in 1991, aiming to keep the flame of culture alive, the Sarita Vihar Sarbojanin Puja Samiti is now a healthy bustling 25-year-old. Every year, the residents of Sarita Vihar get together to create a memorable spectacle on the biggest annual occasion for the Bengalis- the Durga Puja. The sound of the dhaak, the Rabindra Sangeet melodies, the ghugni-jhaalmuri, the dhunuchi...all these are redolent of the vibrant Puja organized by us every year.
