Formula Bharat is an International design competition tailored for university students.

The purpose of the competition is to promote the awareness of practical engineering experience and student innovation through creating a competitive Indian platform for Indian and International teams alike. From Formula Bharat 2019 onwards, the competition hosts both Combustion and Electric Vehicles. The Rules Booklet for the competition is available on www.formulabharat.com/deadlines.

Formula Bharat is at Formula Student Germany for the Formula Student World Council Meeting, representing the Indian Formula Student community on a global platform.

The World Council Meeting brings together organisers from Formula Student competitions around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, and work together towards strengthening the global Formula Student ecosystem.

It was also a great opportunity for our team to reconnect with members of the Formula Bharat organising committee and friends from across the Formula Student community.

A special thank you to Ludwig and the FSG team for inviting us and creating a space for meaningful conversations and collaboration.

Proud to represent Formula Bharat and India as we continue to contribute to and grow the global Formula Student community.

The Formula Bharat 2027 grid is growing!

Teams from across India have registered to compete in the new season, representing different states and categories. It’s exciting to see both returning teams and new participants joining the Formula Bharat community.

This year also marks a major milestone with the introduction of India’s first Formula Student Driverless Cup. Alongside the conventional Formula Student categories, teams will now have the opportunity to showcase their work in autonomous vehicle technology, pushing the boundaries of student engineering and innovation.
