Sandeep C from Sika India will be delivering a session on “Simplicity in Battery Assembly.”

As EVs move from modular battery designs to advanced Cell-to-Pack and Cell-to-Chassis architectures, this session will break down practical material solutions that improve safety, performance and manufacturing efficiency, including structural adhesives, thermal gap fillers, thermally conductive adhesives, potting & encapsulation, and fire protection solutions.

Red Bull never fails to bring the energy to Formula Bharat and this season was no exception. From the moment they rolled in with the iconic Red Bull RB14, the paddock buzzed with excitement, giving students a rare, up-close look at a true Formula 1 machine.

Adding to the thrill was an incredibly insightful virtual session with Calum Nicholas, better known to fans as . Former Senior Power Unit Assembly Technician at Oracle Red Bull Racing, Calum has been at the heart of F1 operations managing specifications and logistics for critical systems connecting the engine to the chassis, including exhaust and cooling systems. For the past five years, he’s also been the right rear wheel gunman on the pit crew, operating under the most intense pressure motorsport has to offer.

Seeing students interact with someone who has lived and breathed Formula 1 at the highest level was truly special, an inspiring exchange of knowledge, experience, and ambition that perfectly embodies the spirit of Formula Bharat.

This season, we came together to present an award that is incredibly close to our hearts, in loving memory of Vignesh Ravi.

An Organising Committee Member, Vignesh believed that Formula Student was about more than lap times and trophies, it was about people. About helping each other, standing together through challenges, and growing as one community.

This award celebrates the team that best carries forward that spirit of kindness, selflessness, and support.

After circulating a nomination form and having meaningful conversations with teams across the paddock, one name stood out. We are proud to present this award to Eclipse Racing from Thakur College of Engineering & Technology.

We would also like to share the video played during the awards ceremony, honouring Vignesh and the values he lived by.

WRI India’s Sustainable Innovative Mobility Challenge at Formula Bharat 2026 marked a significant first in the global Formula Student ecosystem, reinforcing a shift toward sustainability-led innovation in student engineering competitions.

The challenge encouraged teams to go beyond performance and engineering excellence, integrating sustainable design, material innovation, circularity, and lifecycle thinking into their vehicles.

The winning team, Camber Racing from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, stood out for embedding sustainability across design and operations, using agricultural waste–based materials, repurposed infrastructure, and calibrating their engine to run on both E20 and unleaded fuel without major hardware changes. Their approach showcased how high performance and sustainability can successfully coexist.

Behind every strong student team is a group of dedicated individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Among them, Faculty Advisors play a pivotal role, guiding, mentoring, and supporting teams at every stage of their journey.

This season at Formula Bharat 2026, we hosted the Faculty Advisors Challenge, a special initiative designed to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of these mentors. The challenge featured tasks that highlighted key parameters of effective mentorship, team support, leadership, and long-term impact on student development.
