Mr.Abhishekh Kawitkar from We the Artists was invited as the Chief Guest at the Vasundhara Natya Mahotsav. We had the pleasure of watching three thought-provoking plays, each articulately directed by Santosh Makude. The performances were powerful, and the message in each play was conveyed with such depth and clarity—it left a lasting impression on everyone present.

In his address, Abhishekh shared some insightful reflections:

Theatre is a mirror to society, and festivals like this are essential for nurturing voices that question, challenge, and inspire.

He applauded the clarity of direction and strong ensemble performances, noting how each play carried its message without being preachy.

He emphasized the importance of supporting grassroots theatre, which often brings out the most honest and compelling stories.

He encouraged young artists to stay rooted in their cultural context while exploring universal themes.
