Out of the Ashes, the Rapid Fire Debate v2 was the curtain raiser event put on by the second year DebSoc students to promote the club and praise the debating skills of both the 1st and 2nd years. The event took place at the Academic Block on 17th and 18th of February, 2015 from 5:30pm. This event brought together students from different branches to debate on topics given on the spot. Example of such topics are ‘Centre should provide more economic assistance to eastern India than the western India’. Over the two days of the event, students who had come in teams of three had a good debating experience. Also thanks to all senior most members of DebSoc who had shown their interest by adjudicating the debates (It is not possible to name all our seniors since many of them were present.).

Lastly, the event was one of its kind, it was the RFD.

That's all said, we will definitely up with RFDv3 sooner.

On behalf of the organizing committee i take this opportunity to thank all the participants for making this event such a grand success. You people kept the momentum of the event alive. And as far as the quality of debate is concerned, its one of the best i have seen in my short debating career. You Guys were just awesome.

A heart full thanks for our team of adjudicator. You people added stars to the quality of debate we saw and gave it the right direction. Thanks a lot to you.

We thank all our fellow members of DEBSOC for being there and helping us whenever we needed you. Without you people the event was just not possible.

Last but not the least many many many thanks to our mentor, guide and inspiration, our very own "ABHI BHAIYA"..:p
