The Odisha Budget 2026 sets a “New Horizon of Development” for the state’s traditional heritage by allocating a massive ₹3,192.51 Crore toward the Handloom, Textiles, and Handicrafts sectors. Key initiatives include a ₹450.95 Crore investment in the Chief Minister’s Textile Scheme to establish PM Mitra Parks and Innovation Centers, alongside ₹224.22 Crore for silk production and the new Karuna Silk Spinning Mill.
