Attended the PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE Meeting at Shimla today.

Examined the Comptroller and Auditor General Audit Reports pertaining to

Ministry of Textiles &
Handloom, GoI and Central Board of Direct Taxes.( CBDT).
Also, I spoke at length about the Policy Measures for transition in the Energy Sector.

Officials from Central and State Govt of Himachal Pradesh were present.

Chaired the Sub Committee (Defence) of PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE today.

Officials of the Ministry of Defence and office of Comptroller & Auditor General (C& AG) were present.

We discussed the Audit Reports pertaining to the Ordnance Factories .

Noted the viewpoints of all.

Proper planning, regular monitoring and adoption of rectification measures, wherever needed, are the key to the success of any organisation.

National Judicial Academy, Bhopal was the Prime Witness.
We heard the Organisation at length. Took its views on the subject.
So far, the Committee has heard out 20 Entities in the matter.

Natural Gas Pipeline ( PNG) is proactively been encouraged to be laid by Gas Authority of India Ltd in Bhubaneswar City.

As Cooking Gas it is much more economical than LPG Cylinder and much safer.

It is pleasure to request the housewives to be safe and hassle - free.
I had the pleasure of lighting up Cooking Gas Stoves in a few kitchens in Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar yesterday.

I do it because it is good for our residents.
I personally monitor the progress of laying the pipeline and getting the households connected.
