Priyanshu De, president of KIIT IOT Labs, under KSAC is representing India at the WorldSkills Competition 2026 in Shanghai, China, in Web Technologies (Skill 17). WorldSkills is one of the world’s largest international skill competitions, bringing together highly skilled young professionals from countries across the globe.
As part of his preparation for the international competition, Priyanshu has undergone extensive training in web development and related technologies, covering areas such as frontend development, backend development, APIs, databases, responsive interfaces, JavaScript frameworks, Laravel, React, Vue, and other modern web technologies. His preparation has involved intensive practical projects, timed competition simulations, and offline problem-solving exercises similar to the actual WorldSkills competition environment.
He has also received international training exposure, including training programmes at TAFE NSW in Wollongong, Australia, and NWSLC Wigston Campus in the United Kingdom, where he trained alongside participants and experts from countries including Japan, Singapore, Australia, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
He will compete for Team India in Web Technologies at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, scheduled from 22–27 September 2026 in Shanghai, China. The competition will test participants on their ability to design, develop and implement professional web solutions under strict time constraints and international competition standards.
