Rouf Memorial Cricket Tournament, AMU, Aligarh. Rouf Memorial cricket tournament is played, each year, to commemorate the martyrdom of Abdul Rouf, who was student of this university. Thanking in anticipation.

Rouf Memorial cricket tournament is played exclusively by the students from Jammu and Kashmir studying outside the state. This year we will be playing the 12th edition of the tournament at the M.M. cricket ground most probably in the last week of January 2014. Suggestions are welcomed through messages to the admin of the page. Relevant and helpful suggestions will be posted on the behalf of the se

So the wait to kick off the tournament is over. The fixtures have been drawn and inaugural match scheduled tomorrow, will be played between MM Riders and Habib Hurricanes at athletics ground. Teams are requested to report on set time of 9:30 am.
The second match will be played between Spartans and Poonch Eleven. The are requested to report on 1:00 pm sharp.
Teams who will report late will be given stiff penalty. committee.

I request all the interested teams to submit their forms by midnight and give us some room to set fixture. It's very glum that we've got very low response from the expected teams and the proposed date of the inaugration is just a day away from us.

Entry forms for the 14th Rouf Memorial Cricket Tournament-2016 are available now. Interested teams can collect the same from Mohammad Umar (9760821539) or Rouf Bhat at MM Hall. Teams are requested to collect and submit the forms, so that we can set a fixture.
Note: The inaugural match will be played on sunday either at MM Hall Cricket Ground or at athletics ground (if possible).

So, We have got new champions....
Habib Hurricanes defeated SZ XI by 8 wickets.... Chasing a victory target of 83, habib Hurricanes got off to a quick start... Rasik was hitting the ball briskly and scored a half century... Earlier SZ XI, perhaps under pressure, as it was final cud'nt steady the ship...
Man of the Match; Rasik.. He also got the Man of the tournament for his all round performance.....

The Grand Finale of the 12th Rouf Memorial Cricket Tournament will be played on Monday 10, Feb at 1:00 pm between S.Z. XI and Habib Hurricanes.
Both the teams are requested to report at 12:30 pm sharp. White jersey is compulsory for every player (white T shirt minimum).

IInd Semi Final:
Cruising into finals, Habib Hurricanes defeated Kings XI Kashmir in a low scoring match by 17 runs.
Janib of Habib Hurricanes was declared as Man of the Match for his Five Wicket haul helping his team to defend a mere score of 110 runs.

Semi-final Ist, SZ XI defeated Ghazi XI by 77 runs...
Chasing a victory target of 155, Ghazi XI were all out for 78 runs. Rehan was adjudged man of the match for his 15 ball 29 runs and for getting 5 wickets....
