After and _simran.agarwal had baked their breads, it was time to bid them good bye and I had some pending work to be completed. So my dough sat still in the fridge!
And it sat still till yesterday.
That’s a total of 48 hours of cold ferment.
Was lovely, to say the least, to eat for dinner last night. This was made with ’ T55 Flour and Flour X. Also featured here is a new lame from . Felt good scoring with this one. 👍🏻

Another round of the Sourdough Bakeoff’s happened yesterday. This time with and _simran.agarwal.
Here are the breads they baked. (Picture 1) 😍
Lunch was special with these breads and 2 curries - one was a spectacular vegetarian stew and the other was a gorgeous prawn curry. The stew was so good that I ended up drinking some of it after the meal. 😅
Pictures 2, 3, 4 and 5 are made with T55 Flour and Flour X along with sautéed Panch Phoran. 😇
Pictures 6, 7 & 8 are made with the same flours but they have sautéed green chillies and truffle cheese in them. 🥰
All in all a spectacular day with these 2 girls.

Yesterday’s lunch was truly spectacular. Many many thanks for this effort.
This was a repeat visit here at and we were literally taken off our feet. Each and every serving left me wondering if something could better the feeling I was going through.
I’m going to let the pictures do the talking!
On the way back the daughter and the Mrs. asked me what was my favourite and I was seriously handicapped to answer that with a straight face.
I loved every dish and would easily rate them all 10/10. The ones that truly foxed me with the textural wonder was the Crab & Rice, the Salt Baked Fish and the Midnight Noodles. 😋
In hindsight, spectacular doesn’t do justice to the food served. Go and get pampered out there.

Featured here is the egg dosa that the daughter made for breakfast. Also featured here is her chutney packed with flavour. This had coriander leaves, lime, coconut, green chillies and a wee bit of sugar too! Ufff it was yum!

Those of you who are interested in learning sourdough, shall we get started?
Yes. The Day Long Sourdough Experience with Sudha and Sujit has 2 new slots. Both on Sunday’s (10th and 24th May) for those of you who’d like to spend an off day doing something that will increase your visibility.🤤!
Featured here is bread made out of T55 flour from . The starter was made with Flour X, again from , over 3 feeds that spanned over 17 hours. The dough was bulk fermented for 4 hours under control conditions and then cold proofed for 15 hours. This was finally baked in a Dutch oven for 35 minutes.
