Kurash is an ancient type of upright jacket grappling oldest martial art, which originated in Uzbekistan.Kurash is combat art ,Self Defense and Public Physical entertainment. Kurash is mentioned in many historical sources for more than three and half thousand years. Kurash was limited by the borders of Central Asia. Kurash uses skill and flexibility for attack and defense. Strength is of course a

pplied but it is even more important to know how to use it. In emergencies Kurash can be a form of self defense..You use both your strength and intelligence to apply the skill. After learning the basic moments you will develop your own skills and put them at the time of competition .Techniques,Tradition,Rules and Philosophy of Kurash verbally were passed from generation to generation. Kurash is an Uzbek word it means-Reaching the goal with the just or fair way. Kurash rules prohibited any actions on the floor,action is allowed only in standing position. There is no ground work, only throws, leg sweep can be used by players. Any techniques using arm lock, chocking and kicking as will as grip below the belt are strictly prohibited.All its make Kursh simple,friendly, interesting, dynamic and safe sport to practice. Kurash is an aggressive high tempo martial arts and is attracting a growing numbers of followers world wide, have high hopes for the future of Kurash, aiming one day to take the sport to the Olympic stage.

बायको नावाच्या अर्धांगिनीला
तिच्यात दडलेल्या कारभारणीला
संसारातील तिच्याबरोबरच्या प्रत्येक क्षणाला
दोन घर जोडणाऱ्या तिच्या विशेष मनाला
कोटि-कोटि सादर प्रणाम.

सख्या , चुलत , मावस बहिणीला
बहिणी सारख्या प्रिय वहिनीला
त्यांनी बांधलेल्या प्रत्येक राखीला
माहेरी झालेल्या त्यांच्या वजाबाकीला
कोटि-कोटि सादर प्रणाम.

मावशी आणि आत्याला
त्यांनी जपलेल्या जुन्या नात्याला
मामी आणि तिच्या खट्याळ पोरीला
शाळा कॉलेजातील प्रत्येक दिलचोरीला
कोटि-कोटि सादर प्रणाम.

आज्जीच्या संस्कार सृष्टीला
तिने पेरलेल्या अनुभवी दूरदृष्टीला
घरच्या आणि शेजारच्या काकूला
सुख दुःखात त्यांनी दिलेल्या टेकूला
कोटि-कोटि सादर प्रणाम.

मनभूमी ते कणभूमी गाजवणाऱ्या
विश्वातील प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात डंका वाजवणाऱ्या
भूत,वर्तमान,भविष्यकाळी रणरागिणींना
तुमच्या आमच्या सर्वांच्या माता भगिनी कन्यारत्नांना
आणि गृहिणींना
