Valsad Mangoes have been famous around the world for many years. People have recognized the quality and taste of Alphonso from this region. Our promoter, Mr Chintan Desai was born into a farming family. They own a vast orchard of 8000 mango trees. These mangoes are exported to Netherlands, UK, USA, Australia and Japan.
Mr Chintan has been living in Ahmedabad for a few years and realised that the taste of Valsad mangoes is missing in the city. He introduced his orchardโs mangoes in 2017 at Ahmedabad Haatโs mango festival. The response was overwhelming and people kept coming back with more orders for the Alphonso and Kesar mangoes of Valsad. The next year he branded his mangoes under Deewan-e-aam and received a lot of affection for the quirky name and sweet mangoes. People started showing interest on our social media page and orders started flooding in from all parts of India. It is time before we open outlets in other parts of the country but this website will serve the purpose for now. You can order from anywhere in India and we will deliver our export quality, organic and sustainably farmed mangoes to your city.
Our Orchards
Spread over 111 Acres of lush green land, our orchard boasts of 8000 magnificent mango trees. The orchards are distributed among vast lands in the villages of Anjlav, Palan and Parriar in Valsad district. Located just 10 kilometres from National Highway 48, these farmlands are ideal for the famous Valsad Alphonso breed of mangoes. The temperature, water and weather conditions help in the perfect blossom of mango flowers and development of fruits. Deewan-e-aam ensures that good practices are adopted in cultivating the mangoes. Our trees are of the ages 7 to 13 years. We believe in sustainable farming and use drip irrigation to save water. Our fertilizers are gentle and pesticides are of government approved standards. We also use fruit bagging technology for protecting the fruit from heatstroke, flies, germs and rain. The trees are regularly pruned and maintained according to organic farming standards. The farm has been a source of employment for over 300 tribal farm labour each harvest season.
