An expression made is incomplete without an impression created. Where else would it be more applicable than the in the domain of arts and music? There is a readily existing rich pool of talent and performers on the one side and an abundance of audience and appreciation on the other side. More often than not the only missing link between the two sides is a connector in form of an event and a platfo
rm. Taalay is a sincere endeavor to fill in this void of connectors. On both immediate and long term basis, it aspires to fulfill the following objectives:
• To ensure the next musical step after theory and riyaaz, that is exposure to the stage, to all those talented upcoming pursuers of Indian Classical music tradition.
• To specifically harness the performance talent from the pool of relatively young artists.
• To synergize the performance potential of different artists, mastering vocal & different instruments at different institutions, in form of a Sangat.
• To expand, enrich and diversify the base of audience following Indian Classical music in Gujarat.
• To actively engage the renowned performers, both in Indian Classical vocal and instrumental traditions, in this effort of encouraging and synergizing the performing potential of relatively young artists.
