Their live shows are known for an unrelenting energy that blurs the line between catharsis and chaos.

Antakala is a black metal band from Kolkata, West Bengal, India.They began under the name Necronomicon, and in 2021 they adopted the name Antakala. Their music explores dark and occult themes—early material dealt with Satanism and warfare, while recent work draws more from Hindu ta***ic philosophies and occultism.
Some of their releases include the demo The Moon of Necronomicon (2021) the EP Kaalraatri (2023) and their newest EP The Apocalyptic Eternal Darkness(2024). The band is known for blending heavy black metal aesthetics with ritualistic and mythological imagery.
