Tel Aviv International Theatre Festival (TAITF) aims to explore interpretation, forms and execution for theatre practices of the future. We believe the upcoming years will enrich artists and audiences with a wealth of new impressions and ways to interact. So, we are thrilled to witness and research these tendenci

Although many people consider theatre a conservative art, in fact, there is a never-ending stream of perspectives that keeps the reinvention of theatre and its practices going at all times. Together with the festival guests and audience, we will look into the live theatre and its digital dimensions, go on a journey to discover new ways for audience participation and build a balance between the classical dramatic forms and the innovative approaches to the performative field. In a manner that benefits everyone, Tel Aviv International Theatre Festival intends to explore the so-called identity of the theatre of the future: its dramaturgy and acting styles, repertory politics and collaboration with the audience, aesthetics and rituals. • Bring Israeli theatre audiences from all over the country to enjoy contemporary theatre art and explore the culture of the future together;
• Infuse the city of Tel Aviv with the joy of artistic expression and creativity;

Not only we are thirsty to discover new theatre practices and new ways of show creation. As a team, we are determined to prove that no matter how fast-paced the world has become or how technological our everyday life is, theatre is an art that will inevitably present itself as crucial for societies worldwide. We believe that theatre art can change and reshape our lives and do likewise in the years to come. Investing our best efforts into bringing modern, vibrant productions to the yearly festival, we promote theatre art of the future in all its shapes and diversity. TAITF is both embracing and arguing the new technological approaches while provoking to dwell on the emerging themes and aesthetics reflected on stage. The festival researches how to participate with audiences and discover all possible sites for theatre productions of the future. In the end, our team will do whatever it takes to get into the act of reinventing theatre over and over again to keep it alive forever and for the sake of people who love arts.

The most powerful aspect of this production is in the way all its elements work together to evoke a sense of complicity in the audience, the feeling that however horrific what we have just seen onstage, we are the ones who have allowed this to happen. In this mirror we see a vision of ourselves.

היום השני של הפסטיבל - החברים הגדולים שלנו מלטביה קבוצת KatLz העלתה הצגה "השכן" , הצגה מאוד מיוחדת במינה ומאוד ברוח נושא הפסטיבל שלנו!
את הצגה ביקר שגריר לטביה Aivars Groza עם רעייתו.

ובמרחב הדיגיטלי שלנו התקיימה הצגה QUALIA של קבוצת Larp.Parisэ - חוויה אינרסיבית ל 8 אנשים בלבד.

היום, היום השלישי, אתם יכולים עוד להספיק לראות את ההצגה "השכן" שעולה בפעם השניה ב 19:00

פרמיירה של הפסטיבל - הצגה נסיונית "אני מפחד"
הצגה זאת היא יצירה שיוצאת מגדר ההצגות הרגילות של תיאטרון מלנקי. לא רק כי מדובר בטכנולוגיות חדשות שמשנות את הפני החיים הרגילים שלנו, אלא כי אנחנו רוצים שהטכנולוגיות אלו ימצאו מקום על הבמה יחד עם השחקנים , יהפכו לשותפים של היצירה.
המשימה שלנו היא לנסות להבין באיזו שפה ידבר תיאטרון מודרני כבר מחר.

בהצגה משתתפים: אילון מאסק, ג'פרי היטון, AI, גולם וגיבורים נוספים בני זמננו.בחלק השלישי נעשה שימוש בתסריט של פרידריך גורנשטיין ואנדריי טרקובסקי לסרט "סולאריס" המבוסס על הרומן מאת סטניסלב לם
