It's with a heavy heart we write this tribute to our beautiful friend Shirley Maria Lougheed who has left us way too soon....Her presence illuminated our lives in ways words can scarcely capture. You were the radiant sun that brought warmth, light, laughter, and a sense of fun to every moment we shared with you. Just like the glow of the moon your presence illuminated any room, or place that you entered, with that beautiful smile and those mischievous eyes. Just as the stars sparkle tirelessly in the night sky, your sparkle, and infinite kindness will forever shine in our hearts, guiding us through every bright and dark moment alike. Fly high our beautiful friend. As you move onwards may your journey be filled with magic, joy, and endless adventures, knowing you will always be loved and remembered ❤️

Did you know that Florence had a familiar who was a greyhound?! The main purpose of familiars was to serve the witch, providing protection for them as they came into their new powers. Familiars could be black cats, toads, dogs or even in some cases fairies (not of the Tuatha Dé Danann) kind! Florence's "greyhound" visited her when she was in jail....

Go and give our Florence Newton 365 a like as we celebrate her this year ....While we don’t have direct proof that Florence Newton was a healer, it fits a very common historical pattern at that time. Many people accused of witchcraft were simply women with knowledge, independence, or social positions that made others uneasy.
