As another successful St. Patrick’s Day Parade has come to a close, I’ve a few very important thank you’s to make.

💚 Every club, business, act and service that entered our parade this year. We had 40 entrants. Each and every one of you were fantastic. The time and effort put into your organising and being with us on the day is truly appreciated. Thank You

💚 Our Grand Marshall Pat Davis. We were honored to have you with us on the day. You did an excellent job. Thank You.

💚 Our sponsors and local businesses for their generous donations. Without you the parade could not happen. Thank You.

💚 Brian Gleeson, Georgina Franey and the hard-working outdoor crews of Wicklow Municipal District. Your help and support every year ensures the smooth running of the parade and people safety with barriers. Thank You.

Our little Wicklow Lion Cubs stole the show in the parade. The bigger Lions really appreciate winning the "Best Theme" award...special thanks to everyone who joined us on the day and to the well organised committee...thank you !

💚 Well done to our 2 best costumes: Mandie Delahunt (whose lovely green hat is on its 25th annual parade!) and Liam "Theo" - both of who won a €50 voucher for Sparrow's Nest and who are pictured with our wonderful MC, Eileen Whelan.

🟩 The FYI dancers were the winners of our €50 voucher from Opera for their high-energy and inclusive parade entry on the day.
