Hills of the Harbour Sprint Triathlon

Hills of the Harbour Sprint Triathlon Triathlon event run by East Cork Tribe set in the beautiful scenic Whitegate Village, Co Cork

The event will begin with a 750meter open water sea swim in the heart of Whitegate village. This will be followed by a challenging 20 kilometer out and back cycle in the direction of Midleton. It will then finish with a hilly 6 kilometer run around the back of Whitegate village and the finish line will be located in the center of the village.

Its just under 2 weeks till we hold the Hills of the Harbour Triathlon in Whitegate again this year.

It will be on Sunday 16th August @ 9.30am

Its a great event for the village, every year since it has been running.

We are looking for more marshals to help and a loan of kayaks for Race Day please 🤞

All help would be really appreciated, there is a coffee/burger/99, Velo water bottle and our fab cups for all that marshal 😊

It's 2 weeks to Hills of the Harbour sprint Triathlon in Whitegate, East Cork.
Our amazing VeloRevolution water bottles have arrived and there is One for every athlete and Volunteer at our event on Sunday 16th August.

Enter our triathlon through the triathlon Ireland website.

If you wish to volunteer then pm us here and we will add you to our marshall list and ensure you get your new Velo water bottle aswell as the usual goodie bag.

2 weeks to Hills of the Harbour sprint Triathlon.

See our course details for the 20km bike route.

It's an out and back route from Whitegate in the direction of Midleton, turning at the top of Saleen hill for a super short triangular turn loop back in the direction you came to Whitegate.

A good super flat road surface with some hills before the turn point!!

Hills of the Harbour sprint Triathlon swim is a 750m
in Whitegate village. It is in a sheltered bay inside Cork Harbour. This is a perfect place for beginner Triathletes and also triathletes looking for a fast smooth swim.

It is an anti-clockwise 750m swim

Relay options also available for those who don't fancy a swim. Get your team together and enjoy a triathlon experience.
