🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM WINTERVAL ELF HQ 🚨

We’re receiving reports of some unusual activity overnight in Waterford…

CCTV footage appears to show an unidentified visitor entering through the Vestibule entrance of the Theatre Royal on The Mall, before heading through the building to the basement of the Medieval Museum. Strangely, nothing seems to have been taken.

Winterval Elf HQ is reviewing the footage.

🐀 The Boomtown Rats are coming to Winterval!

December 19th at The Hive on Park Road, Geldof and The Rats are bringing Rat Trap, I Don’t Like Mondays and Banana Republic to Waterford the weekend before Christmas! 🎪

The Hive is our brand new venue for 2026 - picture a thousand people indoors on Park Road, heated, with a bar, the city lit up outside and Geldof and the boys giving it socks a few feet in front of you. Christmas made!

Waterford Local Enterprise Office have created a programme specifically for startup artisans, people with a brilliant product who are ready to take it to the next level. Five months of hands-on business training AND a cabin at Winterval 2026, trading in front of thousands of visitors across the festival right through the Christmas season 🎄
The training is built for Waterford artisan producers, not resellers. You'll learn how to identify your best products, price them right, set up a beautiful stall, and build a brand story that cuts through in a busy market. By the time Winterval opens its doors in November, you'll be ready to sell your artisan products to thousands of Winterval visitors 🥳
