The denizens of danger, the masters of disaster, the amazing Fanzini Brothers are bringing their brand new show “Risky Business” to the Garter Lane Theatre for SprÓg 2026!

A stupefying spectacle full of danger, cabbages, big stunts and tiny bicycles. But there is a problem in the shape of health and safety inspectors, determined to keep everyone safe at any cost.

Packed with physical comedy, escalating nonsense, and audience-fuelled mayhem, Risky Business is a hilarious tug-of-war between reckless showmanship and relentless regulation.

🇮🇪 Spraoi 🤝Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Spraoi will perform in a parade and multiarts celebration in Cardigan, Wales, marking the 850th anniversary of the first Eisteddfod held at Cardigan Castle in 1176. The event takes place on Saturday, June 27th.

The Eisteddfod is Wales’s premier festival of literature, music and performance, celebrating the nation’s language and culture 💥

Spraoi will perform with a family of giant wolves escorting Lord Rhys from his boat as he makes his ceremonial journey to Cardigan Castle. The company’s Welsh premiere is supported by Culture Ireland, Wales Arts International, and the Eisteddfod.

This is a tremendous privilege for Spraoi to perform as part of the Eisteddfod’s 850th anniversary programme. Our team of artists and technicians are excited to entertain audiences in Wales and to collaborate with cultural colleagues across the Irish Sea. Huge thanks to our funders for creating this international opportunity for us 🧡

Aerial performance artist Michaela Heyer (Funki Fi) visited Spraoi Studios in recent weeks for a short residency. She was developing and rehearsing her new show Funki Fi Disco Date which will be performed at festivals and events later this year. In 2015 Michaela was selected as a Spraoi N.E.S.T. (New Emerging Street Talent) artist. Following a mentoring process she subsequently performed at Spraoi International Street Arts Festival, at the Out There Festival, Great Yarmouth, U.K., and finally at the National Circus Festival in Tralee.

Already in 2026 Spraoi Studios have hosted residencies by Fanzini Productions and performer Colm O’Grady, both of whom feature at this year’s Spraoi International Street Arts Festival July 31st to August 2nd. 💥

A busy and creative week at Spraoi Studios - We’ve been delighted to have Colm and Nick in residence this week, working on a brand new show 👀💨

Colm had some kind words reflecting on the week 👉 “The support and generosity that Nick and I have received from Mike, Graham and the rest of the team has been a genuinely moving experience for me.“
