🏆👑 100K Classic 2025 Champion! 👑🏆

What a performance from Loida Sangines, who crossed the line in an incredible 9:25:37 to take victory in the 100K Classic 2025.

Over 100 kilometres, she showed remarkable strength, determination, resilience, and class. On a day when every runner faced the challenge of the distance, Loida set the standard and proved exactly what is possible through dedication and hard work.

They say ultrarunning is about endurance, courage, and heart — and Loida demonstrated all three in abundance.

Congratulations on an outstanding achievement and a well-deserved victory. 🎉👏

THE team at Run The Kingdom (RTK) have announced that they will be presenting the 'Eric Leahy Memorial Shield' at the Tralee 100k Ultra Marathon this weekend. The shield will be awarded to the first male and female home in honour of Eric, who sadly passed away back in April. Eric was an avid member

The mural and memorial space near Strand Street in Tralee commemorates Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty — the Kerryman often called “Ireland’s Schindler” because of his role helping Jews, escaped Allied prisoners, and anti-fascists during the Second World War.

What makes the location meaningful is that O’Flaherty was born in Kiskeam, but spent part of his earliest life in Tralee. According to local accounts, he lived for his first years in the building that later became The Huddle Bar, only a short distance from where the memorial now stands.

ralee 100K — where emotions hit differently.

100 kilometres isn’t just about running… it’s about every early morning, every hard session, every doubt, every battle, and every reason you kept going when stopping would’ve been easier.

And then you cross that finish line… and it all comes out. Relief. Pride. Exhaustion. Gratitude.
