Set in the historical grounds of Strokestown Park House, this year's show hopes to continue to build on the great success of previous shows. Celebrating its 154th year, the Annual Strokestown Agricultural & Industrial Show is taking place on Saturday 10th September 2022. Highlights include the โ‚ฌ6,000 Sweeney Family All Ireland Beef Bullock Championship, the Greenvale Animal Feeds All-Ireland Beef Heifer Championship. Also on the day we have plenty of other competitions to come and see
- The โ‚ฌ12,000 Irish Angus All-Ireland Finals.
- The โ‚ฌ12,000 Callery Endowment Fund \Irish Draught Classes
- ALL IRELAND BREEDING HEIFER Sponsored by Chasetown Civil Engineering Ltd (Sweeney Family, Corrigeen)
- Irish Simmental All-Ireland Finals.
- Irish Shorthorn Premium Beef Bull Championship.
- Hanlyโ€™s Hardware & Spar Supermarket All Ireland Calf Classes.
- Showing Classes for cattle, sheep, crafts, cookery, farm & garden produce. This year also sees the return of the highly successful Flavours from the Heart Ireland Food & Drinks Fair. Once again showcasing the wealth of culinary delights from the locality and further afield, this year it will include appearances from Celebrity Chef Shane Smith as well as some local surprises! We are delighted to announce that the Mid Roscommon Vintage Club will be on the showgrounds on the day with some fully operational vintage machinery including a fully working Threshing Machine! This is an event not to be missed and we look forward to some great demonstrations from the team at Mid Roscommon Vintage Club!

Weโ€™re delighted to round off this yearโ€™s Flavours from the Heart of Ireland Food Fair with Kylemore Acres and Red Dog Artisan Foods.

From handcrafted herb and spice blends to bold American-style BBQ sauces, rubs, salts and chilli jellies, theyโ€™re a fantastic final addition to an incredible line-up of producers joining us at Strokestown Show.
