GOAL Mile Stamullen

GOAL Mile Stamullen Michelle Mckiernan The GOAL Mile gives friends, family and neighbours the chance to simply run or walk a Mile, and make a donation to GOAL. No problem.

The popular fundraiser has grown and grown over the years, and is now an integral part of the Christmas period for thousands of people. Last year, GOAL Miles took place in 100 locations around Ireland and raised in excess of €158,000 for GOAL’s programmes in the developing world. GOAL could not have done this without those who took part in and, in particular, those who organised Miles up and down

the country. Your continued support is hugely appreciated as it helps GOAL to make a real difference in the 13 countries where we work. Please do what you can to help make this year’s GOAL Mile the biggest yet! GOAL Mile FAQ

Wednesday, January 1st 2014, 12 midday! Runners will take to the track first and this year we will not be timing you so set your watches and go for your mile pb! Walker/ joggers will do their mile when the runners are done. There are no dogs allowed in St Patricks GFC. We have the use of the fabulous upstairs area in St Pats for race numbers and refreshments afterwards. Brendan Meade is providing race numbers for all as usual and all participants will also receive their Goal Mile certificate. For the past two years, we have had two parishioners in their eighties do their mile with ease. Dick Boshell and Mick Cooke, two Pats supporters, supporting Goal. Look forward to seeing them both again this New Years Day.
