Ocean Warrior ’22 results. Well done Tadgh de Barra, the new champ! And to all the other participants, making the most of tricky conditions. Thanks everyone for travelling to support our event and the RNLI. I’ll count all the funds asap but I know we beat our target of €1,000!!!

With a strong NW west forecasted we're looking at the possibility of an alternative course. This course will involve two laps and will minimize the time paddling with side waves and maximize downwind. We will also be able to keep a visual on paddlers at all times. We'll be monitoring the forecast and keep you updated should we change. Good time to mention that all competitors should plan to carry a phone, and ski paddlers need a leash.

To avoid having to deal with cash at Race Entries you can make your donation directly on this Just Giving page. Minimum donation is €40. There will be a prize for the best fundraiser, and a race goody bag with race hat, and gifts from Nelo Ireland, Patagonia, Broderick’s Chocolate,… for the first 30 entrants. All proceeds of the race are in aid of Sligo Bay RNLI.
