✨ COMEDY HEADLINE ANNOUNCEMENT ⚡️

Sligo Live Festival is delighted to present Kyla Cobbler Live in The Knocknarea Arena ATU Sligo, on Sunday 18th October 2026. Seated tickets €31.80 plus booking fees.

Kyla Cobbler is one of the fastest-rising names in comedy. The comic first gained attention through her viral Instagram reels, before stepping on stage for her first open mic in May 2021. Just five years later, she’s built a global following, with over 1 million Instagram followers, 250M+ video views, and a reputation as a must-see live performer.

Her fearless appearance on The Tommy Tiernan Show in April 2025 catapulted her into the national spotlight, with one viewer calling it “the best interview of the entire series.” Known for her raw storytelling, razor-sharp crowd work, and unfiltered honesty, Kyla commands the stage with total confidence — every performance is electric, unpredictable, and unforgettable.

On the live circuit, Kyla’s momentum is undeniable. Since she sold out her first show at the Cork Opera House in February 2024, she has repeated that feat 7 times and sold out Dublin’s 3Olympia 7 times, London’s Leicester Square twice, Ally Pally, Clapham Grand and tours in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

For this show Kyla will mix it up creating a special experience for the Sligo Live audience and is set to deliver an unforgettable night. With a loyal fanbase, explosive stage presence, and growing international demand, Kyla Cobbler is not just a rising star — she’s a force to be reckoned with.

Please Note: This show is for persons aged 18 and over. ID may be requested at entry points. Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation.

BELL X1 SUPPORT ANNOUNCEMENT ⚡

We're delighted to announce that Dave Lofts will support Bell X1 on our June 5th show in the Knocknarea Arena ATU, Sligo.

Dave Lofts has built a reputation for raw, anthemic storytelling with an indie-folk edge, drawing comparisons to artists such as actor Russel Crowe, Sam Fender and Dermot Kennedy. With nearly 8 million global streams, 305,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and a growing audience that continues to expand beyond his live following, Lofts has become an artist with both momentum and authenticity.

On “Holy,” Lofts leans into the emotional honesty that has become a hallmark of his songwriting. The track captures the intensity, vulnerability and catharsis that run through much of his work, balancing intimate reflection with the kind of soaring chorus lift that makes his music feel both deeply personal and universally felt. His songs frequently explore themes of mental health survival, shame, relapse, grief and redemption, and “Holy” continues that thread with striking conviction.

NEW DOUBLE BILL ANNOUNCEMENT ✨🎻

Sligo Live presents a brilliant folk double-bill with The Whileaways and Michael McGovern, in Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo on Friday 23rd October at 8pm. Tickets €29.00 plus fees.

The Whileaways have released four critically acclaimed, award-winning albums and toured prestigious festivals and venues worldwide over the past decade. The Whileaways eagerly anticipated fifth album will be released in September 2026. Prepare to be spellbound!

Michael McGovern deserves all the hype - For those of you lucky enough to catch him supporting Ye Vagabonds at last year's festival, you know what we're talking about! Michael blends poetic lyricism with folk roots, evolving beyond his acclaimed debut Highfield Suite. His new album Thin White Road showcases full-band arrangements, literary influences, and viral single ‘Evelyn‘, cementing him as a compelling new contemporary folk voice. The album draws on literary influences like Laurie Lee, Hunter S. Thompson and confirms him as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary folk.
