Junior Paddlefest

Some of you may have know Adrian, some may be new to his name, his Legacy.
He was an absolute Gent and always there when I needed him.
He mulled away quietly in the background and we shared mutual resources between Paddlefest and Cranafest, always a friendly ear and gave sound advice.
I will miss you my Friend.
Miss your texts, your phone calls, your quirky sense of humour. You have left a void in the hearth of everyone that knew you.
You were an explorer, a tyrant at times and I know you will continue to be yourself wherever you are..till we meet again...

Hi All,
Unfortunately, with everything that is going on at the minute, we will have to cancel Paddlefest for a second year. It has been a very difficult decision to make but the safety of all is paramount at all times.
Covid has effected a lot of events and there is a knock on effect with Catering, Logistics, Staffing, Accomodation and use of equipment to consider.
The impact of effects have a very big influence on the running of Paddlefest and when all of these factors are considered, it has made the event impossible to run.
I would like to thank you for your support and hopefully we will be back for 2022 in some form.

LEVEL ONE INSTRUCTOR TRAINING FOR JUNIORS 29-30 august
This is a junior specific level one instructor training open to juniors aged 15+ who have or are very close to level 3 skills standard
This course will be run 9:00 to 18:00 both days. it will be run of out the Tullow Kayak club house
There is a discounted fee of 150 euro for each participant.
This course will be run in compliance with current Covid -19 Guide lines

Hi All,
Unfortunately, with the current restrictions and guidelines been adheared too, it would be practically impossible to run Paddlefest this year.

The safety of the participants and crew is paramount and with that in mind we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event for 2020.
Roll on 2021

The dates for 2021 are 17/18/19 Sept.
