The countdown has begun for the spectacular launch of Féile Cholmcille, proudly organised by The Colmcille Heritage Trust, Gartan. Taking place from 6th–9th June 2026, this vibrant four-day celebration will honour the enduring legacy of St.Colmcille in the historic and picturesque setting of Gartan.

Join us for an inspiring programme of cultural events, music, heritage experiences, and community gatherings that bring history to life. Féile Cholmcille promises to be a truly memorable festival, uniting locals and visitors alike in celebration of our shared traditions, faith and rich heritage.

We are extremely grateful to everyone involved in Féile Cholmcille and in particular the support received from our Municipal District councillors through the 2026 Development Fund Initiative. The hills, a vibrant tapestry of russet and green, awakening.
Sleeping giants they stretch and rise, the earth stirs quietly,
The poetry of a new season beckons, in a landscape wild and serene.
