We're holding a public engagement session in collaboration with landscape architects DWG Ltd. Our aim is to gather feedback and ideas from the local community to help shape regeneration plans for the play park.

Cúchulainn Gaels, in conjunction with the people of Carlingford and Omeath Parish, warmly invite you to celebrate the 50th Jubilee of Fr. Christy McElwee.

This special milestone will be celebrated with Mass on Sunday 12th July at 10am in St. Laurence’s Church, Omeath.

We would love to see as many club members, supporters and friends as possible in attendance. If you can, please wear your Cúchulainn Gaels colours as we come together to mark this wonderful occasion and show our appreciation for Fr. Christy’s years of service to our parish and community.

Following Mass, everyone is welcome to gather in the Grand Central Hotel Omeath at 11am for a breakfast buffet, where the club will also make a special presentation to Fr. Christy.

A little-known fact about Fr. Christy… although he’s proudly from Derry, in his younger days he lined out at inter-county level for Tipperary! 🏐

Please spread the word, bring your club colours, and join us as we celebrate this very special milestone.
