Swedish band Quilty and Irish musician Andy Irvine join together to present a collaboration that brings together Irish and Swedish traditional music. Quilty is widely regarded as the leading Irish folk band in Scandinavia, while Irvine is one of Ireland’s most respected singers and musicians, with a career spanning more than 55 years. Together, they offer a strong blend of experience, tradition, and cross-cultural music.

Formed in 1993, Quilty has toured extensively in Sweden, Germany, and Norway and has worked with choirs and symphony orchestras. In 2018, the band marked its 25th anniversary with a fan-voted “Best of Quilty” tour. In 2020, Quilty was nominated Band of the Year at Sweden’s Folk & World Music Gala. Since then, they have toured with Out on the Ocean, a program of sea songs, emigration ballads, and maritime-themed music from Irish and Scottish traditions.

Andy Irvine is known for his work with Sweeney’s Men, Planxty, Patrick Street, Mozaik, and Usher’s Island. He has also built a long solo career, performing Irish traditional songs, Balkan-influenced music, and his own compositions. His work has had a major influence on Irish traditional and folk musicians.

In 2023, Quilty invited Andy Irvine to join their 30th anniversary tour of Sweden. The sold-out tour led to continued collaboration, with joint concerts now combining Irish and Swedish traditional music.

New live show from multiple-award winning film maker Ken O'Sullivan.

In his new show, Stories From The Sea, Ken brings us on his 25 year journey exploring the North Atlantic ocean and seas around Ireland, with stories, video pieces and personal insights into his experiences. From being surrounded by a pod of killer whales, to swimming with thousands of dolphins and fin and blue whales, the largest animals ever to have lived, Ken regales us with stories of the beauty of the natural world and our emotional connection with it.

The live show is a mix of film and stories from Ken’s 20 plus year long career. He pays homage to his family’s 250-year history on Fenit Island, Co. Kerry and our ancient maritime culture.

Education and conservation have been at the heart of Ken’s work since 2005, long before it was popular to tell stories of damage and even devastation in natural history documentaries. He will talk about some of the great challenges facing our marine animals and habitats.Ken has donated his documentaries to education, where they now feature on the secondary school exam curriculum within the Junior cycle Geography and Business Studies courses.

Ken has now produced more than twenty natural history documentaries for RTÉ and his last series North Atlantic was acquired by BBC and broadcast in over 30 countries. He features alongside David Attenborough in BBC Earth’s Stunning Underwater Nature Footage which has 7 million views on YouTube.

His book Stories from the Deep is critically acclaimed for its lyrical writing and descriptions of nature and animal encounters, as well as Ken’s honesty about his life as a film maker.

Collaborative Installation: Lost Property

A collective archive of what’s been left behind. Wall-mounted boxes act as temporary tactile repositories holding traces of what has been discarded, outgrown ideas, memories, and objects. Collective members have contributed small works or fragments, placing them into the boxes and leaving them behind creating a shared “scrapbook” of departures.

In 18th century Manchester, a young woman named Ann Lee joins a Quakers sect known for their acts of ecstatic dance and ‘shaking’ during worship. After experiencing several family tragedies, Ann undergoes a deeper religious conversion and is convinced celibacy is the path forward. The ‘Shakers’ unite around Ann as a potential Messiah, but face persecution from local authorities - eventually driving ‘Mother Ann’ and a small group of followers to seek sanctuary and new acolytes in America.

Inspired by the true story of Shakers leader Ann Lee, Mona Fastvold’s film explores the many complexities of faith in a captivating film full of rapturous dance and music. Amanda Seyfried delivers an astonishing performance in a physically and emotionally demanding role.

In this wholly original, self-aware cinematic work, the true crime boom is put under the microscope as filmmaker Charlie Shackleton tells the story of his abandoned documentary about the infamous Zodiac Killer, describing beat-by-beat how he imagined it playing out. Over vacant Bay Area landscapes, stylised re-enactments and clips from recent true crime hits, his wry voiceover conjures the unrealised project in real time, offering an object lesson in creative frustration—and a hilarious critique of a genre at saturation point.
