This is a story from Gael Linn's 'Amharc Γ‰ireann' newsreel which also features new housing estates in Trim and a Fleadh Rince in Oldcastle.

There's also a lavish American dramatisation of St. Patrick’s trial at Tara, footage from the 1949 All-Ireland Football Final when Meath claimed a dramatic victory over Cavan & the colour of Butlins holidaymakers captured on film.
