is set in the picturesque countryside near Macroom, Co. Cork in the grounds of the old Rusheen Farm estate, with its walled gardens, ancient and managed woodlands, miles of walks, its lakes and follies and tree-lined green fields. Townlands Carnival is currently accepting applications from Musicians and Artists interested in being part of our 2017 event.

Hey you! Yeah you in the picture! Thanks so much from everyone at Townlands Carnival for coming and partying with us this weekend. It was a real blast and we want to see you all again REAL soon! Our Story

July 20th- 22nd 2018 Townlands Carnival is a three day, unique participatory Music & Arts Festival, promoting music, arts and culture in all its diversity at an international level. A celebration and exploration of Culture past, present and future, attracting audiences and quality acts from home and abroad.

The music bill is eclectic, lively and uplifting and showcases up and coming acts, alongside established international performers from all musical persuasions. Across 5 stages experience music in all its shapes and sizes from Dub to Techno and everything in between.

The Village Green which includes the Village Hall, Big Bubbles Kids Area and Craft area will inspire and ignite ideas as workshops, talks and performances are hosted by some of the country’s most passionate community development professionals. This is a family event with a dedicated kids area & entertainment for the younger festival goer all weekend.

#TLC is set in the picturesque countryside near Macroom, Co. Cork in the grounds of the old Rusheen Farm estate, with its walled gardens, ancient and managed woodlands, miles of walks, its lakes and follies and tree-lined green fields. The setting is idyllic as the Carnival comes to life as our fancy dressed festival goers gear up in all their Carnival and Cirucs finery. Fire performers, circus folk and theatrical walk abouts immerse the crowd with their playful antics while projection mapping and artist installations bring you on adventures. We can’t wait to share it with you! x
