is closing down. We are simply devastated. A microbrewery/pub/venue/cultural space that has been so supportive and encouraging to us since they opened. They've built such an incredible, tight-knit and loving community over the past 5 years and we were more than happy to be a small part of that. We're losing a venue, Limerick City is losing one of the most culturally important and inclusive spaces it's ever had.

We first met Jono and the rest of the gang around 2020/2021. He told us that he wandered into a Féile event in 2019 and felt encouraged & excited by the sense of community he witnessed. What he witnessed, Crew contributed to tenfold in the years since.

I can't wrap my head around what's happening in Limerick that allows closures like this to happen. It's suffocating to think about. Erosion of culture and community like it's nothing. F**k this.

Thomas Street will certainly lose a lot of life & colour. Limerick City will become a bit more dull. It's important now to keep fighting for what's here. There are so many legends doing cool s**t. Support them.

Thanks for everything Crew, you will be so sorely missed. They close December 24th. Please show up for them over the next 2 months and give them all the love they deserve.

EVA x Féile Na Gréine: SIREN SONG is this Saturday 25th October at St. John's Pavilion, 7pm.

Join us in celebrating EVA International on its closing weekend with a programme of genre-fluid musical performances.

Isa Gordon:
Ayrshire-bred, Glasgow-based artist, honing a surreal sonic palette juggling as much from Glasgow's experimental club history as it does from tightly-structured dance music, Scottish folk, punk and electronica. A producer and lyricist, cherry-picking the medium to serve the message. Isa is moreover a collaborator, remixer, performer, design engineer and DJ.

SPIT:
SPIT is a new hard software/soft hardware project brought to you by artists and educators Viva Dean & Róisín Berg (of and respectively) Who say: “CREATE THE TECHNOLOGY OR IT WILL CREATE YOU” Using DIY noise boxes, samples, sensors, broken beats They explore low concept club/low brow experimental and new ways of interfacing and blending mind>>body>>machine.

Nømads:
NØMADS Bio A Dublin based collective comprising the talents of Mongolian musicians Hansel Sergelenbaartar and Bataa Jambaldorj, with noted Dublin experimental musician Ian Nyquist and instrumentalist Adhamh Ó Caoimh, also of folk punk trio, Answerer. NØMADS conjure a heady mix of the traditional and contemporary, dark and dense sonics and unconventional approaches, blending jaw harp, throat singing, with classical and drone inspired experimental and electronic music.

It's almost a week since Friday's launch events kicked off an amazing weekend filled with music and friends.
