Munster GAA Gaeltacht Scholarship deadline is next Monday Feb 23rd.

Applicants must be current members of a GAA, LGFA or Camogie Club in Munster.

Applicants aged 12 – 17 are required to submit a video recording in Irish of ONE MINUTE’S duration on the following Topic:

Mo Chlub (Based on Gaelic games of all codes)

Video to also include a brief introduction of self from the student, outlining their interest in Gaeilge and our culture.

*Bord Na nÓg*
Bord Na nÓg Season Kicks Off, Our underage teams will begin the new season with a block of fitness training starting on Monday, 16th February.
The schedule is as follows:
• U10 Fundamental Movement Skills: 6.00pm – 6.45pm
• U13 Fitness & Strength & Conditioning: 6.50pm – 7.40pm
• U15 Fitness & Strength & Conditioning: 7.45pm – 8.35pm

These sessions will be led by Cathal O’Mahony and will run for four weeks. Please note that no hurling gear is required, as the focus will be on fitness and movement development. We look forward to seeing all players back as we prepare for the season ahead.

County Squads Selected
Congratulations to Ryyan Heffernan, Michael Sheehan and Darragh Sheehan on their selection to the U14 Limerick Hurling Squad for 2026. Well done also to Jack O’Donnell and Séamus Hyland, who have been named on the U16 Hurling Squad. Congratulations to Ciarán Lees and Kian O’Keeffe on their selection to the U16 Limerick Football Panel. These selections are a great achievement for the players and their families. Sincere thanks to all the coaches who have worked with and supported these young players over the years. We wish them every success representing club and county. Best of luck to the lads still trialing for The Celtic Challenge.

The Limerick County Senior Scór Finals are on Friday 25th February at a venue to be confirmed at 7pm. The question time final team of four will be held at Mungret St. Paul’s GAA Clubhouse on Thursday 26th February at 8pm. Munster Championship Tickets: Tickets for the 2026 Munster Senior Hurling and Football Championship games will go on sale in the first week in April available via www.gaa/ie/tickets.ticketmaster and selected Centra and SuperValu outlets.

*Limerick GAA Season*
Limerick County GAA Board launched their 2026 club season tickets recently. The tickets will entitle the bearer entry to all Limerick County Board club games in 2026 for €150. They can be purchased online at https://limerickgaa.ie/shop/limerick-gaa-club-season-tickets/

*2026 Club Limerick Draw*:
There will be 10 monthly draws from March to December with a top prize of €10,000. Limerick GAA looking for Voluntary Stewards:

Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Luimneach are holding a Course for voluntary stewards to assist with our games in the Gaelic Grounds, Mick Neville Park and various Grounds as the need arises. The purpose of this course is to ensure that there will be enough qualified stewards for events at these venues. Indeed, all clubs must have enough qualified stewards for games.

Conditions: -
Over 18 years of age (male or female).
Available for a Steward Roster at weekends (average of 10 - 20 events annually)
Fit and Active
Friendly, courteous, enthusiastic.

Stewards will be trained and accredited by the GAA National Health & Safety Committee and the course is monitored by the Europlan Group who will be present.

Course Details:
Course will take place on Thursday 26th February 2026 commencing with refreshments at 6.30pm
Certification will only be awarded upon completion of the full course.

Venue: Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel, Adare, Co. Limerick, V94 F1P9
