He was a gentle and kind man who was a great part of Freemount Comhaltas.
He will be dearly missed.

The O’Keeffe family and all the members of Cill Mhin Comhaltas would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all of Con’s family and friends at this very sad time.

May Con Rest in Peace.

Con was a wonderful supporter of our festival and was always a welcome and familiar face, ready to play a few tunes and share his love of music with everyone around him. He had a special kindness and generosity and was always so encouraging and welcoming to our young musicians, making sure they felt included and had a place in every session.

His warm smile, gentle nature, kindness and love of music touched so many people. His music and the joy he brought will be fondly remembered and his presence will be dearly missed by us all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Con’s family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
