As prospective new owners, we (Leo and Gunther) are in active negotiations to take the reins of this cherished establishment. We are incredibly thankful to the current owner for offering us the opportunity to breathe fresh life into Sammy’s, with the aim of restoring it to its former glory and creating something truly lasting. Our vision is not just about good coffee and warm service. It’s about transforming Sammy’s into a year-round landmark. A stable, locally-rooted business that supports jobs and celebrates the unique spirit of Inch Beach for decades to come.
But who are we you might be wondering?
Leo brings with him over 15 years of hands-on hospitality experience and is well-known for his warm, cheerful presence and heartfelt service. He’s been living and serving in Ireland throughout that time and is passionate about creating meaningful moments for every visitor.
Gunther, an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience consulting and scaling businesses, has called Ireland home for the past 5 years. For him, Sammy’s isn’t just another project, it is a heartfelt mission and a place that deserves care, investment, and vision.
Together, we want to be more than just owners. We want to be the soul of Sammy’s, leading with dedication, purpose, and love for the local community and visitors alike. We imagine a space that offers quality, comfort, and connection, all set against the stunning backdrop of Inch Beach.
