Another great weekend, another amazing festival. We are so grateful to all our guests and supporters, local and from afar, our wonderful musicians who put so much energy and passion into the festival, and all the volunteers who make the whole weekend possible.

We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Fun for all the family: come down to The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre this afternoon for a joyful, large-scale theatrical celebration involving professional actors and musicians alongside community performers of all ages, combining music, movement and storytelling.

LATE NIGHT CONCERT - Focail agus Fuaim with Denise Chaila & Sibéal Ní Chasaide

Two of Ireland’s most compelling and distinctive young voices meet for the first time in a late-night encounter of word and song. Sean-nós singer SibealOfficial, with her luminous, tradition-rooted voice, joins forces with poet, rapper and singer Denise Chaila pulses with rhythm, urgency and fearless contemporary expression.

Backed by members of the Festival Ensemble, this is a meeting of worlds; intimate and electric. Focail agus Fuaim, in the candlelit nave, explores the power of language in all its forms. Tradition converses with improvisation; melody intertwines with rhythm; stillness gives way to fire.

Rising Stars Coffee Concert - this Saturday @ 11 am

Two of Ireland’s most exciting young ensembles - Banshee Brass and the Tara String Quartet - bring their energy, precision and fresh perspective to the Oak Room at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre.

Banshee Brass is a multicultural brass quintet based in Dublin, Ireland. They are committed to bringing unique, compelling, and accessible performances through repertoire and contributions of diverse perspectives to audiences.

Formed in September 2025 in Dublin, the Tara Quartet is based at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Since its formation, the ensemble has been dedicated to developing a strong and unified artistic identity, with a particular focus on the core string quartet repertoire.

This free concert is open to all! Grab a coffee, pull up a chair and be immersed in the rising stars of Ireland's classical music scene.

Meet the artists of the 2026 festival!

Rhiannon Giddens is a two-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist, Pulitzer Prize-winner and composer of opera, ballet and film. She has centered her work around the mission of lifting up people whose contributions to American musical history have previously been overlooked or erased, and advocating for a more accurate understanding of the country’s musical origins through art.
