A massive and heartfelt thank-you to all the marshals, stewards, and volunteers who so generously gave their time and energy on the day of the fun run. Quite simply, the event could not have gone ahead without your dedication, goodwill, and commitment. From the very early starts in the morning to the final clear-ups at the end of the day, every single person played a vital role in ensuring the event ran smoothly, safely, and in a wonderfully positive atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.
Special recognition goes to Joey Tyrrell, whose excellent management of the parking arrangements ensured that arrivals and departures were efficient and stress-free from the moment people reached the venue, and to Colm Moriarty for leading the team of road marshals and coordinating such a crucial part of the overall operation. Their calm leadership, organisation, and attention to detail made an enormous difference and were greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
With over 100 volunteers supporting the event in total, the scale of assistance was truly remarkable and stands as a powerful reflection of the community spirit behind this occasion. We are incredibly grateful to each and every person who stepped forward to help — your generosity, teamwork, enthusiasm, and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed helped create a memorable and enjoyable day for all who took part.
A special mention also goes to An Garda Síochána, Kildare County Council, and the Red Cross for their expert guidance and professional support on the day, which was invaluable in helping to keep the event safe and well organised throughout.
