We’ve had to keep this one under our hats for quite some time… 🐑

For anyone tuning in and enjoying the latest series of The Traitors Ireland, you may have noticed a rather familiar farm on display last night!

It was such a pleasure to have the gang down with us in early March as they filmed part of this year’s series

Thankfully the sheep have adapted nicely to their newfound celebrity status 🐑😂

Everyone at Causey Farm is brokenhearted at the tragic passing of TJ McDonnell💔 TJ was an uplifting and fearless all-rounder who brightened the day of everyone he met. Out of all the wonderful young people who have worked at Causey, TJ’s positive and accommodating attitude always stood out. Whether driving a tractor around the farm or winning Scare Actor of the Year at Farmaphobia, TJ was most famous for that infectious smile of his. Once he was smiling, everyone else soon was too. There was no job at Causey that TJ wasn’t willing to do but his role working with children as a gifted tour leader was perhaps when that famous smile shone brightest.

His classic answer when asked to do anything was ‘yeah, that’s no bother’.

He made connections with everyone, no matter how young or old and inspired people to be the best they could be, never failing to push himself to give and get the maximum from every moment.

On Tuesday, he was working with someone new and he opened with ‘I like to be inclusive - what kind of music do you like?’ And when he got the tongue-in-cheek answer ‘Abba’ he turned on Mama Mia and soon the whole team was painting and singing along!

TJ was always eager to get things done and wanted to do things right, but if an odd time the timber wasn’t exactly straight he’d step back, give it a crooked smile and say ‘Ah shur you won’t see it from my house’!

And of course we have to say a special word about how TJ brought his wonderful brother Ryan to our team. What an indescribable loss for you especially, Ryan. We will be here in every way we can.

Our deepest condolences to TJ’s parents Paul and Aishling, his siblings Katie, Ryan, Hollie-Rose and Paul Jr, his extended family and his large circle of friends. TJ will be forever missed at Causey Farm, may his smile continue to shine down on us from above❤️🕊️
