HELP US KEEP MAREE AC GOING - Following the feedback and interest since we announced the club was folding at the end of 2019, we are going to hold our 2020 AGM at 9pm on Monday, 13th January in the Maree Community Center.

We need your support if you want to see the club and the 8K race survive. A new committee will be elected on the night.

We wanted to say a massive Thank You to everyone involved in making the 2019 Maree 8K a success. So much work goes in behind the scenes to make sure we deliver a safe, fun road race year after year and it wouldn't be possible without the continued support of the local community in Maree.

We'd like to thank Louise and the gang at the Maree Community Centre for giving us use of both the space and kitchens for the morning. To everyone who helped clean up, boil kettles, empty bins - thank you! To all the parking marshals who helped direct parking and the traffic before and during the race - thank you! To all the marshals who braved the cold on various corners throughout the course - thank you! To the Byrnes for manning the water stop - thank you! To Padraig Fahey for taking all the great photos out on the course - thank you!

Shout out also to Pop Up Races who, for the past three years, have been a pleasure to deal with in helping us deliver the best possible race for you guys.

We especially thank Lidl Ireland for their generous donation of water, biscuits, tea, coffee and cake. All remaining supplies from the race were further donated to the Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit.

We hope you enjoyed the day and thanks again for supporting us!
