🎶 Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer Festival Returns to Finuge! 🎶

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Teach Siamsa Finuge is delighted to welcome the 2nd Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer Festival, celebrating the rich harping tradition of North Kerry and Ireland.

Taking place in the heart of Finuge, the festival honours the legacy of renowned Kerry harper Cornelius Lyons and features a weekend of workshops, music, heritage and community.

We are delighted to welcome acclaimed Kerry harpist Deirdre Granville as this year’s tutor. An award-winning harpist, singer and educator from Di**le, Deirdre is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading traditional harp performers and tutors.
Join us for a special weekend celebrating harp music, tradition and the living legacy of Irish harping.

🎶 Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer School & Festival 🎶

We are delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for this year’s Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer School & Festival, taking place from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June.

We look forward to welcoming back familiar faces and new participants alike for another special weekend celebrating the rich harp tradition of North Kerry and honouring the legacy of Cornelius Lyons.

This year’s programme offers a wonderful mix of learning, history, music and community, set against the beautiful backdrop of Ballybunion and North Kerry.

📍 Friday June 19th
• 6pm – Festival Opening
• 6.30–8.30pm – Harp Workshop

📍 Saturday June 20th
• 10am–2.30pm – Harp Workshop (Lunch Included)
• 3.30pm – Talk on Cornelius Lyons
• 8pm – Concert with Danny O’Mahony & Cáit Ní Riain ( tickets on sale separately)

📍 Sunday June 21st
• 11am – Festival Mass, Irremore Church
• 12.30–2.30pm – Harp Workshop (Lunch Included)
• 5pm approx. – Finale at Ratoo Tower featuring “Miss Hamilton” performed in honour of Cornelius Lyons.

🎶 A Fantastic Night Kicking off our Summer Concert Series 🎶

✨️What a great night of entertainment by Noelle O'Sullivan accompanied by Lily Munday on violin and Martin Schaerer on percussion at Teach Siamsa.✨️

Noelle with her dulcet tones, was a fitting vocalist to have performing in the unique and intimate surroundings of Teach Siamsa, Finuge. Each song had the full house audience captivated with tracks from her album " Rolling on the Inside" amongst others.
