Did you know St. Oliver Plunkett lived on the outskirts of Dundalk in the 1670s?
From Ballybarrack to Castletown and Dundalk, he ordained many priests and left a lasting mark on the area. Arrested in 1679, he was jailed in Dundalk before being taken to London, where he was martyred in 1681.
Today, his story lives on through a powerful EPSO mural in Dundalk, blending history, faith and contemporary street art 🎨 Have you spotted it yet? 👀
