Thank you to all who turned out to celebrate St. Brigid's weekend with us in Duncormick.

Thank you to all participants in this morning's St. Brigid's cross making workshop. It was a great success and noone went home empty handed. Maith sibh!!
Thank you to Aileen and Michael ( folklore.ie) for making it such an enjoyable and interesting experience.

Looking forward to tomorrow 's festivities in Duncormick for the St. Brigid's weekend.
Don't forget to drop into Duncormick Church from 11 am until 12:30 for a Workshop with Folklore .ie 's Michael Fortune and Aileen Lambert. The morning will be focused on the stories, myth and legend of St.Brigid and the artistry of cross making and Brídóg making.
Come on in out of the weather and try your hand at it and enjoy some tea,coffee and cakes by Little Robin Coffee and Bakes.

Later in the evening, doors open at 7pm, we will be treated to the talents of some of the finest young traditional artists in the country namely Tulua and their supporting guests Eire and Cú Chulainn Ó Faoiláin. Rachel Ó Faoláin will perform extracts from ' 'Glór N̈aomh Bríd'.

Come along next Saturday to Duncormick and bring a friend! St. Brigid's hands-on cross making, songs and folklore workshop with Aileen and Michael.
This is open to all ages so come along. Bring a cushion and a handful of rushes and we'll look after the rest.
Tea, coffee and fresh home baking courtesy of Kate Devereux and Little Robin Coffee and Bakes
