Rathangan Country Fair Rathangan Country Fair organises fun, family friendly events, giving opportunities of making memories to all cohorts of our community.

Money raised from these is all entirely accounted for and has been re-invested into worthy causes within our community. Rathangan Country Fair committee was formed in 2022 coming off the back of the tough Covid-19 pandemic and associated lock downs and isolation. Through a series of events, it sought to bring the people of the parish back out into the community, meeting up, socializing and enjoyin

g life again. These successful events in turn raised a substantial amount of money which is all entirely accounted for and has been re-invested back into various worthy causes within the community. Rathangan Country Fair will continue to organize fun, family friendly events giving enjoyable opportunities of making happy memories to all cohorts of our community. We are delighted that to date, contributions have been given to the following very worthy community projects:
• Rathangan Parish – Re-development of church carpark to include re-surfacing and lining for directional flow, car parking, disabled parking, pedestrian access and bus parking. A lighting tower has been erected and provision for defibrillator installation.
• Rathangan Defibrillator Fund
• Duncormick Area Action Group
• Cleariestown Parish Council
• Baldwinstown Hall
• Local Sporting organisations
Each of these projects’ aims are to enhance the facilities and infrastructure within our beautiful rural community for the enjoyment of all the inhabitants.
