The Fireside Sessions was started as a local open mic night in the village of Duleek in Co Meath... It ran on a monthly basis where acts form the immediate locality came to play the fireside stage ... Within a year its creator Brian Heavey felt the need to give the wider public a taste of wht the night is about where by he organised a small 1 day festival in Duleek, namely " The Fireside Festival

".... The monthly sessions and the festival are now in its 6th year running with the festival receiving a best festival nomination with Pure M magazine in 2017.
