As we start scheming for Bram Stoker Festival 2026, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this year’s programme (and a little bit about you). We’ve put together a short, 7-minute survey to help us shape the future of the festival.

🎭 Macnas Parade: What You Need to Know
🗓 Tonight (Sunday 2 November)

World-renowned spectacle makers Macnas return to Dublin's streets tonight with another magical and unforgettable parade: An Treun - The Summoning of the Lost, a brand-new procession weaving through the North East Inner City on a new route.

🗺️ Parade Route
Great Denmark Street, Gardiner Place, Mountjoy Square, Gardiner Street and Seán McDermott Street.

👀 Best Viewing Spots
Be aware that large crowds are expected but each spot on the new route has great visibility, so walk the route and find a spot you like from 6.45pm.

⏰ Time
Gather from 6.45pm. Parade starts at 7pm. Please do not arrive any earlier!

⏳ Duration
The full parade typically takes 12-20 minutes to pass any one spot.

🌦️ Weather
The weather looks good but this is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately.

♿ Accessibility
Spaces in our relaxed and wheelchair accessible viewing areas are now booked out. Please refer to our website for additional information on wheelchair accessibility along the route.

🚗 Transport
Traffic will be diverted on some roads to accommodate the Macnas Parade, but pedestrians can access the route from any direction. Event security staff will be available to answer any questions about the route.

At the Parade, please follow the instructions of An Garda Síochána and event security staff.

🎪 Stokerland Relaxed Session
Prepare for your Visit

We have programmed a relaxed session of Stokerland at St Patrick’s Park from 9.30am – 12 noon on (tomorrow) Sunday 2 November.

At the session, you can expect a tailored experience designed to welcome people who will benefit from a more relaxed environment, including people who identify as neurodiverse, people on the autistic spectrum, people with sensory and communication disorders, ADHD, ADD, Tourette's or with learning disabilities.

The music will be quieter.

There will be no loud noises.

There will be no flashing lights.

Performances will be gentler in nature.

A Social Story is also available to download from our website to help you prepare for your visit.

Roll up, roll up for two days of ghoulish games, street theatre, spooky surprise and old-timey thrills at St Patrick's Park.

Created especially for children under 12 (and their grown-up ghouls), you can enjoy

- Free rides on a classic Victorian-style carousel
- Face painting and oddball games
- A devilishly fun performance tent packed with exciting performances all weekend
- Curious characters and delicious food stalls
- Picnics welcome
