Dublin Maker

Dublin Maker A Free Family Friendly Festival in Celebration of Making. Dublin Maker is returning Summer 2025! - August 30th and 31st to Leopardstown Racecourse

Dublin Maker is a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.

The festival event itself is a culmination of ‘hack, craft and make’ activities, which begin with the launch of the open call in May 2025 and build up throughout the year.

The main festival event is in the last weekend of August 2025. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors, and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds, coming from all over Ireland and beyond. Maker Ireland’s mission is to entertain, inform and connect the makers of Ireland, while inspiring the next generation of Ireland’s makers and inventors.

Among the many exciting things that happened at Dublin Maker 2026 - this one deserves its own spotlight. 🧱

Ben, of 's Bricks, a LEGO genius spent two months planning a full LEGO mosaic of the Dublin Maker logo - roughly 11,500 pieces. Then, over the weekend, YOU built it: 512 unique sections, assembled by makers of every age, coming together piece by piece into the finished image.

Massive thanks to Dublin Brick Con for sponsoring it 💚

Proof that the best exhibits are the ones you can't do alone!

Dublin Maker 2026 is done and dusted. Two days at Leopardstown, hundreds of makers, thousands of visitors, one very well-attended fashion show, and more soldering irons than any reasonable person needs.

None of it happens without the people who back us. Our sponsors cover the things nobody sees: the shuttle buses, the ISL interpreters, the workshop materials, the marquees, the insurance, the signage, and the coffee that keeps the volunteers upright.

See you in 2027!
