Local Food Matters. According to Bord Bia, more than two-thirds of Irish consumers buy locally produced food at least weekly, and we see that demand reflected in the events we host. Through our sustainable hospitality programme, we work with local suppliers to bring fresh Irish produce to delegates while reducing food miles and supporting local businesses.

When delegates arrive in Dublin, they're doing much more than attending an event. They stay in local hotels, visit restaurants, support local businesses and experience everything the city has to offer.

Business tourism contributed more than €1 billion to the Irish economy in 2025, highlighting the important role visitors play in supporting jobs and communities throughout the country. That's why we're proud to play our part in welcoming delegates from around the world to Dublin and showcasing everything our city has to offer.

At The CCD, we have a Farm to Fork approach that prioritises locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. According to Bord Bia, the Farm to Fork approach supports over 160,000 jobs, making it one of Ireland's largest industries.

By working with Irish producers, we're not only delivering fresh seasonal menus, but also helping support jobs and livelihoods across Ireland's farming communities. Sourcing local produce is also a more sustainable choice, as it reduces the time, distance and energy required for food to travel from farm to fork.

The International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) 2025, hosted at The CCD has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ICCA BestCities Incredible Impacts Programme.

The nomination recognises the festival's commitment to putting tenant voices at the centre of housing conversations and creating a legacy that extends well beyond the event itself. We're proud to have hosted ISHF 2025 and to see its impact recognised on an international stage. Congratulations to all who were involved.

Your event doesn't start when delegates take their seats. It starts in the conversations over coffee, the introductions between sessions and the connections made during a networking break.

With 58% of attendees attending events to meet new contacts and 83% saying networking is central to their ideal event experience, creating dedicated spaces for interaction has never been more important.

At The CCD, our spacious foyer areas provide the perfect environment for networking breaks, receptions and informal meetings, helping attendees make the connections they're looking for.
