🤝more proceeds from the Crosshaven Challenge triathlon went to a good cause this week as we funded new lighting and cabling for the CADs crew💡🕺💃 Pictured here at the handover were Shirley Madden, Lorna Hughes, Peter O'Donovan, Alex and Serina Cogan. Well done to all the cast on another great week and to Peter on his first outing as director!

8 sets of junior clubs were donated to Crosshaven Pitch & Putt yesterday from proceeds of the Centra Crosshaven triathlon. Its hoped these clubs will allow for juniors from our three local schools and further afield to try their hand at the game ⛳️ Good luck to the club this week as they host their open.

Tomorrow, Saturday, is race day!

Over 230 participants have signed up to the Barry's Centra Crosshaven Challenge Triathlon. Swimmers will enter the water at the Point Slip at 2.45pm, exiting at the Hugh Coveney Pier for transition to the cycle and run. First finishers expected outside the shop from 3.30pm onwards. This will be a great spectacle so we encourage everyone to come down and get involved, where possible and in the spirit of the event, leave the cars at home.

The main road will be closed from 2.15pm to c.4.30pm with diversions via the usual route to Aghamarta, the Forge, Rugby Club, Drakes Point, Church Bay Road. The village bus stop will move to Church Bay Road for the duration of the closire.
