🌳 Ards Forest Park parkrun #6

Another fantastic morning at Ards forest park parkrun!

This week 87 people ran, jogged and walked the course, along with one baby and a couple of our little 4 legged furry friends. A special welcome to our Parkrun tourists this wonderful morning (from Devon, Bath, Naas, Killarney, Belfast, Hungary) to name a few) and to all new parkrunners - we had 43 new to Ards Forest park this week! And to all the repeat runners lovely to welcome you all back.

The event was made possible by our 14 amazing volunteers. Special thanks to our tail walker Martina visiting from Cabinteely parkrun and to our new young volunteer Cian 👏

Big shout out to Gavin Lapworth for completing his 400th park run with us 👏 Thanks for all the positive feedback - we love to hear your appreciation for our beautiful scenery.

A big thanks to the 15 local and visiting volunteers for making it all happen.

We hope to see everyone again next week. New parkrunners and visitors always welcome.
